Putting a little spin on a classic lift, today we’ll be doing dumbell strict presses.  Once we warm up, all 5 working sets will be at the same weight.  Keep in mind that these will feel much heavier than their barbell counterpart at the same weight.  The load we choose should allow us to keep our elbows under our wrists for the entire lift, a feat that is also made more challenging by the use of dumbells instead of barbells.  And  continuing on our supersetting theme, we’ll be getting in a little bridge work in between our working press sets.  Because we could all use a little more spinal extension in our lives…

2-arm dumbell press
8-8-8-8-8 sets across
superset with 15 seconds in a bridge
WOD:
6 rounds
5 hang power cleans (155/105)
block sprint
