Working as a team

I think by now we all recognize that the fact that we work out in a group makes things much easier and useful for us in many ways.  Just having some other people next to you going through the same thing you are can make even the most daunting task seem much more feasible.  It can also give us that extra little bit of motivation to rest a little less, push a little harder or try something that we might have otherwise thought to be way too hard.

There are many ways that we can help support our fellow athletes.  One of the simplest things we can do involves just waiting – rather than packing up our equipment as soon as we finish our work, leaving it where it is until everyone is done and instead cheering on those still working greatly enhances the community atmosphere that you all already foster so well.  As your coaches, we’ll be working to leave you more than enough time to pack up your things once the last athlete completes their workout.  So when you finish, relax for a moment, catch your breath and then cheer on and support the person next to you.  We’re all on this quest together.
