So we probably won’t get to infinity, but we’ll certainly be doing more the longer we work.  There are a number of things that happen when we increase the number of reps we do each round, but a big part of it is mental.  How we approach a set of 2 toes to bar will be much different than how we approach a set of 10.  Often in a WOD we can set the cruise control once we have established the rhythm of the workout, especially in our classic couplets and triplets of a consistent rep scheme.  Increasing the reps forces us to constantly think and rethink our strategy to get through the work the fastest we can or get through as much work as possible.  Does this mean get your sets out in the biggest chunks you can or take more, but shorter, breaks?  I can’t tell you – only you can figure that out for yourself.

STR:

EMOM 12
1 high hang clean
1 power clean
1 full clean

WOD:

AMRAP 10
1-infinity toes to bar
50′ walking lunge
1 wall climb

PARKOUR!!!  Constantly varied means being ready for anything. So whether you are bounding over desks in your office or dreaming of becoming an American Ninja Warrior, On Saturday, October 25th from 11:30am-1:30pm CrossFIt Fenway is hosting a Parkour seminar! Parkour is the physical discipline of training to overcome any obstacle within one’s path by adapting one’s movements to the environment. We will have three professional Parkour instructors on hand. These guys really know their stuff and have worked with CrossFit Games athletes to add some constant variance as they prepare for the unknown and unknowable. The seminar is capped at 30 people and is $50 to attend. All are welcome, so please invite friends and family, but space is limited, so e-mail Mandy to sign up! See you Ninja Warriors there!

Gotta get better at stringing those TTB together.

    WOD: 10 even, Rx

Felt good the whole way. T2B started getting rough in round 9, but I was able to do them all kipped and unbroken.
