As a community focused on health and wellness, we can often times find ourselves focusing on small details on how to improve these things (for example, our 1 rep max snatch). While this is certainly a useful tool, we must not lose sight of the big picture.

I implore you all (especially those doing the healthy lifestyle challenge) to check out this article:

While it focuses on the causes of addiction, I think it speaks to a much broader aspect of a healthy life as well as one of the most important parts of our community – human connection. Take a look and let us know what you think!

    Press- 95#, a little archy

Wod- 10:05 rx+ (16# ball). Crazy how much difference 2lbs makes. Ooph.

  4. Lydia says:

    Press: 70#, seemed heavy
WOD: 12:32 with 24″ box pushups and 10# wbs to a wallball on the floor. Better depth than ever, and this was harder than it looked. Ooph, indeed!

And while I’ve heard folks arguing with that guy’s evidence about addiction, I agree that it’s the human connections that make all the difference. One of the reasons CF works so well for so many!
