Sign of for the 2015 Open!

It’s here, friends!  The 2015 CrossFit Open starts this week!  This is your last chance to sign up and be a part of this worldwide test!

The first workout will be announced this Thursday at 8pm at http://games.crossfit.com/ (also a good resource to look into what the Open is all about).  We’re planning on running the WOD on Saturdays at 11am.  Once the workout is announced, we’ll send an email to those registered with the details of when things will start/end and heat info.  If you are registered for the open through CrossFit Somerville and won’t be attending the Saturday WOD, send an email to projects@crossfitsomerville.com so we don’t put you in a heat and we can set up a different time for you to complete the WOD.

There’s still time to register!  You can technically register anytime throughout the open, but if you want to get the full experience, now is the time!  Register here!

    Done! And I’ve been evangelizing in the 7:30 class :). If I’d known that this was what folks meant by “cult-like” I woulda been a lot less scared of Crossfit :D.

    DL: 200lb, my third working set was 200 and I know it sucked, lifted the final rounds at 175

    WOD: 7:10, scaled all the things

    DL: 230#

    WOD: 10:33, HSPU’s with 1 abmat to do about 8, then 2 for the rest, Toes to rings as to not re-rip my hands that are healing.

    DL – I did sets of 3 yesterday sets across at 85% 175# so today i split jerked. #imbackwards

    DL: 285. Failed last two sets at 295. I should have more. Weak sauce.
    WOD: 9:56 w/ 24in box, TTB ALJ

    HSPU on the box fatigued my shoulders enough that my already questionable TTB kips were gone… I was doing them two at a time for most of the workout.
