NOT for time

The clock is a potent medicine.  WE use it pretty much every day to put us in a certain mindset and to track certain metrics.  Todays’s WOD is more similar to LYNNE.  Take a peak, but the idea is to max out your number of unbroken reps of each movement.  You can rest in between each set before switching to the other movement.  Make sure you don’t cool down and remember what hitting failure on things like gymnastic pushing movements can do to your ability to do more in the near future.
Str:
Power Clean Triples (reset every rep)
WOD:
5 rounds NOT for time
Max Rep Touch-N-Go Power Cleans @ 80% of final
Max Effort Unbroken Ring Dips (scale to pushups or other appropriate modified pushing motion)
*score is total number of reps

    Power Clean: 105#

    WOD: 80 @ 85lbs and push-ups on box

  2. Callie says:

Strength: 145# – I did one attempt at 155# but I definitely feel like I’ve lost strength here

WOD: 82 @ 115# and push-ups – 8 was a good number to reach for each round – thanks Chris!

    STR: 125#

WOD: 100 @ 85# and push ups. Did rounds of 10 reps which seemed to help me push through and not just quit when I was kinda tired.
