We can break down the movements we do here in to one of two categories – either we’re learning how to move our bodies through space, or we’re learning how to move an external object through space (or, perhaps a combination of the two).  Today, we’ll have a few different ways to move our bodies through space and one object to manipulate – the kettlebell.  If we are tuned in to how we’re moving the kettlebell (especially if we’re moving it well), we can take that same pattern and apply it both to the deck squats and the broad jumps.  We harp on being able to use our hips explosively for a reason.  They are incredibly effective at driving many movements, and are key in everything we do today.  So get those hips firing on your swings and then keep firing them for your deck squats and broad jumps.  They’ll make everything easier.  It’s just like Chubbs from Happy Gilmore always said.  It’s all in the hips…
