Squat

Plenty going on today, but if you’ve been honing in your front squat with us for at least a few months let’s make the focus getting heavy on these.  Build up that 5×5 to almost failure (or hit it, failing is good for us too).  Truly testing our limits can do something for us that nothing else can.

Front Squat

WOD:
6 Rounds
20 Lateral jumps
10 Toes to bar
50′ Gorilla walk
10 Push ups

– Schedule update:
We will be closed on 11/26 for Thanksgiving.  We’ll only be running one class on Friday, 11/27.  It will be at 11am, uncapped, and we’ll be running the CrossFit WOD “Hope” and collecting donations for Team Rubicon.  Suggested donation is $10, but all members are welcome regardless.

    STR: 195# same as PR… shoulda put a few more pounds on!
    WOD: 14:46 w/ TTB only for the first round, practicing kips for all the rest

    – as RX, but those pushups got less planky and “A Little Janky” by the end.
