Barbell cycling

The workout today will be a great time to practice cycling a barbell during a workout. What does that mean you ask? Cycling the bar means you hold on to the bar and move through the movement many times without putting it down. It can be a very efficient way to get through some tough workouts.

We’ve programmed today’s workout with this in mind. It’s on the longer side with a large number of cleans each round.

3 Rounds
30 Full cleans (95/65)
30 Pull ups
30 Burpees

WoD: 2+47 @ 75# dropping to 65# on 2nd & 3rd set; and band-assisted pullups (light green then dark green) to ringrows on partial 3rd set. 25 minute cap. Oof.

    2+70 with 85#

Approached the barf zone on that last round of pull-ups.
