Up, down, and side to side

Today it’s all about fast change in direction.  This is a key element of athleticism, and we’ll see it show up in pretty much all of our movement today.

The ability to open our hips fully and aggressively and then immediately close them into an active squat is paramount to the success of a full clean.  The suicide sprint changes the force vector from vertical to horizontal, but the fast change of direction still presents itself.  And the box jump over have a bit of horizontal and a bit of vertical, but once again we’re trying to spring back towards the way we came as soon as we reach our destination.
