Training of a Different Sort
This Saturday, our building will be taken up by training of a different sort. I’ll be running my annual mediation, de-escalation, and conflict resolution training for over 20 excited people who will be part of the volunteer non-violent community facilitation team at Burning Man.
As a result, we’ve cancelled the regular Saturday class and Calvinball tomorrow. Urban Wilding will still be happening at the standard location (and contact Nick if you’re unclear on that) but the 10am and noon classes are cancelled. I’m sorry we didn’t clearly communicate this earlier – this event has been on the calendar for over 3 months, but with Mel and Kirstie’s vacation I let it fall through the logistical cracks in terms of the online schedule. If you are inconvenienced by this, please send Mel an email at info@crossfitsomerville.com to get taken care of.
Open Gym on Sunday is a go as usual. I’ll see you all at the facility soon!
