Sprint 6

After building some confidence dropping under our snatch, we’ll be hitting a sprint interval WOD that should be easy to count.

Olympic lifting is filled with seemingly arbitrary details.  When all is said and done, we expect all these littl epieces to come together when we decide to clean or snatch.  This kind of thing doesn’t heppen automatically.  Proper drills help a lot.

Today’s strength, the snatch balance, get us to work on our confidence dropping (or rather, pulling) under the bar to the bottom of our snatch.  If you’re curious, look it up on youtube!

The WOD is all about accumulating as much rest as possible.  The only way to do that is to not rest during the round!  Plan this one to transition fast and strive to get through each round with a 1:1 work/rest ratio.

Didn’t finish the last round. Tried lateral box-overs, but am going to need practice before they’re quick.
