Down, down, to the ground
For many of us, the hardest part of some of our lifts is just getting the bar off the ground in good position. We drill from the hang a lot because A) it’s an important position to hit regardless and B) it allows us to not worry about that pesky first pull.
Today, our six-rep complex will start us from the hang, but gradually get us closer and closer to the floor, ending with one full range snatch. This is drill work more than it is strength work, so make sure your final reps of each set follow the same path as the first.
We’ll finish with a gotta-move-now WOD, where the goal is to only rest when you have to.
