Something new
We’re closing out this cycle with a little check-in on our overhand grip and another burner. Starting next week, we’re going to be playing around with a slight change in format.
Now don’t worry, we’ll still be doing all the movements you know and love in all of the different ways that we like to do them. We’re just going to be leaving a little more room in each class to dive in fully to the main workout of the day. Old school style.
This means we’ll be lifting just for “strength” a little bit less. When we do, that will often be the main focus of the day with a sprint WOD to finish it off with.
Most days, we’ll be delving in to the finer points of the workout throughout class, so when the clock counts down, we’re ready to hit it hard. This could mean prepping a complex barbell or gymnastic movement. Or it could mean we’re going to get after a long one.
Going back to basics, we must remember the importance of variety. Without it, adaptation stops. We think you’re all going to love what’s in store.
