Going overhead

We haven’t squatted overhead in awhile so here they are. If it’s been long time since you’ve seen these or you have severe mobility restrictions we’ll just ease back into it. The placement of the bar in this lift is crucial to standing the bar up. Find your balance and get into the best positions possible.

Overhead squats are used to build strength in the bottom of your squat snatch. After that, we have a combination of pull ups, walls balls, and heavy DB snatches.

Strength:
Overhead squats
x3

WOD:
6 Rounds
10 Pull ups
15 Wall balls (20/14)
5 DB Snatch (60/40)
