More CrossFit Open prep

The theme for this cycle is CrossFit Open prep. Even if you don’t plan on registering for the open, a consistent theme in our programming cycles is to provide you with tools to improve.

On that note, I’m so excited for this workout! This is a great workout to focus on the skills that you will see in the CrossFit Open or generally want to get better at. Find a box you can jump on that is higher than you normally choose, a hard pull up scale, and nice heavy dumbbell for your snatches. The snatches should be heavy enough to be singles and something you can still control.

Mel completed 4 rounds and change and I completed 3+35.

WOD:
AMRAP 22
20 Box jump overs (30/24)
15 Chest to bar pull ups
10 Dumbbell snatches (70/50)

    WoD: 4+31 @ 30” jump over; regular pullups (sprinkled in a few CTB in early rounds); and 65# DB.
