Get ups and interval training
We’re coming up on Open WOD 19.3, so today we have some work that shouldn’t interfere with whatever is thrown at us for Friday.
We’re starting with some turkish get ups, which will engage plenty of shoulder and hip stability/mobility in ways relevant to much of the exercise we do here. From there, we’ll be hitting a Tabata workout, which is 20 seconds of work followed by 10 seconds of rest repeated multiple times. Today, we’ll be cycling through four movement for a total of 16 minutes. The movements here are all simple and bodyweight loaded, so we should still be fresh and ready for anything on Friday!
