Dead Stop
We’re really getting after our core stability today, challenging our deadlifts with a pause at the knee as we left each rep. This will make it significantly more difficult to keep a good position, but for most of us this is a weak link that’s worth spending some time on.
We’ll follow that with a pretty simple AMRAP that gets us jumping, throwing some dumbbells around and the rare opportunity to do some muscle ups on a WOD if they’re in our wheelhouse.

x3, w/ 2 second pause at the knee on the way up
WOD:
AMRAP 12
8 dumbbell clean and jerks (35/25)
8 ctb pull ups (or 3 muscle ups)
8 box jumps (24/20)
Str: 235#
WoD: 5+1, mostly CTB pullups but a few may have fallen short….
STR: 255#
WOD: 5+8, CTB pullups except the last round and maybe some along the way
