Getting the Thrust of It

This week we’ve got a warm CFSV welcome back from your holiday travels, with a lot of long-side workouts that will keep you nice and warm as our first snow of the season sets in. Wintry mix it might be, but even so it’s pretty to see the snow come in!

Today’s workout is “all legs”, but not really. You’ll get plenty of midline work in keeping that load stacked in the front rack and staying engaged on the row, and the shoulders will need to be nice and limber to allow for good form through the thrusters. Watch the load on these and keep it light enough that you can go with big sets for those thrusters. Breaking down early here is a good way to have a bad time.

Later this week, expect more of the longer time domains… and a return to squat snatching, which hopefully your Overhead Squat work will have helped prepared you for.

Put on your boots and get yo frosty butt in here for some leggy work that will kick the week off right!

WOD:
1k Row
30 Thrusters (95/65)
750m Row
20 Thrusters
500m Row
10 Thrusters
250m Row
