It’s time to snatch! We’re gonna get cozy with the barbell today. For our strength, we’re working through sets of 3 on the snatch. Get a powerful leg drive, pop your hips, and get under the bar fast — we’re looking for full (squat) snatches today if you can.

After our working sets, the WOD, “Isabel,” is simple: complete 30 snatches for time. These can be power snatches or full snatches (or muscle snatches…). Whatever your style, keep it efficient and quick. We want to hit a time well under 10 minutes. “Isabel” is a classic benchmark WOD, so don’t forget to jot down your time on the PR whiteboard today!

*Full snatch if you can

WOD:

30 snatches (135/95)

*Any type of snatch is acceptable (power snatch, full/squat snatch)

    I didn’t do Isabel but I’m gonna commandeer this blog post for Friday
    WOD:
    5 RFT
    10 front squats (115/75)
    15 BJ (24/20)
    20 ball slams

    WOD: 15:58 Rx, though some of the squats were not as deep. This workout proved itself to be much more difficult than I had imagined
