Missing You

Hello friends!

Before we get into today’s work, I just wanted to take a moment to recognize the amazing community we have here. While I wasn’t convinced I wanted to stay when I first joined (click here to read about how it took me a while to warm-up to this brand of fitness – http://crossfitsomerville.com/nelly-oliver/) 7 years later I can’t imagine life without this place and its people.

Thank you all for staying engaged, for doing the at-home workouts and posting about them, for joining the Zoom WODs (don’t forget Thursday Yoga with Melinda!), for posting on FB, for emailing and texting and offering to continue to support the gym, for being what makes this place so special. You guys are the reason we continue to work behind the scenes to find ways to come back together (when it makes sense) as safely as possible.

    WOD: 25lb bag o’ sand for kettlebells, 10 chair setup-ups, 30 penguin taps

    20lb dumbbell for KBS, 30s of DU attempts (2-3 per round) replaced by 30s of SU about halfway through. This was a fun one!
