Get Up!

Hello friends!

Feels so good to be able to open the garage doors and run through the lovely streets of Union Square, doesn’t it?

But before you get there you’ll be working on the Turkish Get-Up. The series of steps involved may feel tricky at first but JT will be there to guide you. This is a movement that involves all the things: core stability, balance, mobility, overhead stability etc. Start out on the lighter side and really take the time to build this movement pattern.

Ok – now for those runs. Each round starts with a 200m run, followed by 10 KB swings and 10 KB box step-ups. The step-ups will catch up to you. Stay active and focus on keeping the shins vertical on that step-up.
