Thursday 11/18/21 – Push Press and a longer AMRAP

Today, you’ll be working on your push press, building the strength to move a load over head from your front rack position. Building sets of 3 will allow you to get heavy and drive this weight up. Remember, you’ll need a dip and a drive to generate the force to move it out of the front rack, but there is no second dip to catch it.

The WOD is a CrossFit hero workout named “Jack” and is a 20-minute AMRAP consisting of three movements. 10 Push Presses at (115/85), 10 KBS (53/35), and 10 Box Jumps (24/20). This is a very straight forward and attainable WOD, so set your pace early and hang on!

    WOD: 7 rounds even @ 75#. Will try RX next time
