A Little Bit Early

As you can see, last Saturday was gorgeous. I know a lot of you are traveling – tis the vacation season – but for those of you who are in town the Saturday WOD is a great way to get out of the box and have some fun. Last Saturday I took this good-lookin bunch of fitsters up Prospect Hill for some stair sprints, wall jumps, and KB fun.

I’m covering Eric for his paternity leave over at Fenway, so that means Nick will be running the show this Saturday at Somerville. I encourage you to wake up a little bit early on the weekend to have fun with him!

For Friday, we have one of my favorite benchmark workouts: NANCY. This is all about the core/midline stability and bracing that you’ve probably heard us talk a lot about this week, and how fast you go here is almost entirely dictated by how stable you can be in your Overhead Squats. Slow is smooth and smooth is fast – get braced, get your squat in the groove, and go unbroken.
