It’s a classic bruiser of a hero WOD today with a whole lot of barbell for you lifting fans.

DT is all about choosing the right weight and breaking things up right.  WE’ll be shooting for the 9-12 minute range.  Make sure you feel it, but try not to let the load shut you down.

Jerk work

5 rounds

12 deadlifts (155/105)

9 hang power cleans

6 shoulder to overhead

In honor of USAF SSgt Timothy P. Davis, 28, who was killed on February, 20 2009 supporting operations in OEF when his vehicle was struck by an IED. Timothy is survived by his wife Megan and one-year old son T.J.

Still a struggle, but 2 minutes improvement over my time from April!

9:52 @ 110#. I compared this to my notes, which revealed that we also did this back in September 2016 (though I don’t see it on the blog on quick search). Compare vs. 15:14 @ 95# two years ago – so a ton of improvement!

I really enjoyed this one (which maybe goes to show that the weight was not heavy enough) but I’m pretty certain it was my very first DT.
