Oh yah! This wod is a delightful combination of shoulders and legs! It’ll be great! We have low volume dips – a fine day to scale up and break up the dips into 2-3 sets consistently. Don’t burn yourself out on these, they are a gymnastic movement and when those suckers leave the building, they’re not coming back! Then we have a power clean on the heavier side of light. This should be something you can cycle for 4-7 reps at a time – maybe not flying through them, but we should never get to the point of doing singles. We’ll get into more depth about cycling during class. Also when choosing your weight- be aware that the dips will effect your front rack. To finish off the round we have 20 burpee box jumps! That’s a fair amount of them! Approach these with a “slow is smooth and smooth is fast” mentality. Push them but not so much so that you have to look at the ring for 20+ seconds before starting the next round. Use the step up burpee to keep them efficient. The box jump will smoke your legs and the burpee will smoke your shoulder, making rounds 2 and 3 an adventure! Tap into your inner Mel for these burpee box jumps and keep yourself moving and grooving through this one friends, I know y’all will CRUUUUSH IT!
