“Touch and go” vs resetting

Kirstie Young | 08/22/2018 | 4

In the past, we’ve focused on connecting repetitions together particularly in a workout. Today we’re going to change the focus to sets of power cleans with an emphasis on resetting before each lift.

To be clear: This is not 3 separate power cleans with 10+ seconds of rest in between. The time between lifts should be just enough to re-hook grip, set the hips and go again.

This will give you a chance to focus on resetting during your heavier lifts.

The workout is an explosive combination of high box jumps and toes to bar to keep the momentum of heavy cleans going.

Strength:
Power clean x3

WOD:
AMRAP 10
10 Box jumps (30/24)
10 Toes to bar
