Going Long
We’re going to be pulling for a while today…
After working through some heavy presses, which like yesterday will be close to or at our 1rm, we’ll be tackling a 5000m row. While this might seem like a daunting task, setting little goals and changing your pacing deliberately can help break up the constant pulling that we’ll be doing to get through this. After today, retesting that 2k row will seem like a piece of cake!

WoD: 18:42.5; 7 second improvement as compared with http://crossfitsomerville.com/2019/09/15/monostructural/
Felt the heat from Seje in the last 750 meters, as we have now had a couple of competitive rowing challenges the last couple of weeks.

That’s actually a 10-second improvement since last time (thanks for the link, Josh!), which is kinda shocking since I’ve been mostly out of the game for nearly two months. Hooray for rest, I guess?
I also got some serious side-butt cramps at about the 3.5k mark; I blame yesterday’s deadlifts.
