Happy Wednesday!!

Good morning friends!

I continue to miss your mostly smiling faces bright and early! I hope you’ve taken advantage of the few beautiful days we’ve had and spent some time outside – at a safe social distance, of course! I also hope you’re keeping up with the blog and getting some fitness in! It’s important for your physical and emotional health to get some movement in every day.

I even went for a run earlier this week and you all know how much I enjoy running. After sitting in front of my screen in my home closet office for 3500 days I’ve never been happier to be running while dodging people, cars and bikes. I even actually ran the entire time.

Speaking of the importance of moving, while there’s no running in today’s WOD (your coaches check the forecast when programming) we do have a fun one for you!

Today’s 15 minute AMRAP starts with one handstand walk around a stable chair. You’ve done this a bunch with us at the gym on a box. Same idea!

Just use a chair instead!

Next, to mix it up a little, you’ll do 10 offset push-ups (one hand higher/alternating) followed by 10 lemon squeezers.

Let us know how you did! We always love reading your comments!!

AMRAP 15
1 Round the world (Chair)
10 Offset Push Ups (One hand higher/alternating)
10 Lemon Squeezers

Warmup: walked dog, then did a CrossFit training warmup from instagram…

WoD: Timing was a little funky, but I think 7 rounds + 4. Very core intensive, which was great! Couldn’t find space for a full 360 degree, so did 180×2… Chair didn’t even fall over once!

  2. Josh Feinman says:

I did 5 modified HSPU instead of round the world.

    8 + 10

  3. Ben PC says:

Either 6 or 7 rounds… I should really get a counting device. Same 180°x2 as Ben

  4. DANIEL S. says:

9 rounds. 180×2 using corner of a bed.

Around the world to push ups is real.

  5. Jack Orenstein says:

7 rounds. Every part of that was terrible. Lemon squeezers especially.

The cats came to check on me once I started grunting. Probably not out of concern. More likely, to see if I had died, so that they could consume my internal organs.

    OooWhee! Old-fashioned CrossFit sufferin’!
    7 plus 180°
