Saying Goodbye

Well, friends — it’s my last WOD post before I’m headed to back to Los Angeles, California after an incredible decade in Somerville.
I want to take a moment to share how grateful I am for the CFSV community. I remember when I walked into this garage for the first time in late 2014. I was nervous, unsure, and definitely scared to try CrossFit.
What I didn’t know is that this place would change my life. From being a loyal 6:30am-er, to becoming a coach in 2019, CFSV has filled my soul and shaped me into who I am today. Thanks to CFSV, I am stronger, more confident, and prepared to take on anything that life throws my way.
I hope that, as a coach, I’ve been able to give back to you even a sliver of what this community gave to me. I know that when our doors re-open, CFSV will continue to be the safe, supportive, and inclusive space that we all know and love.
Thank you to our kick-ass members for inspiring me every day. Thank you to JT for believing in me, helping me grow as a coach and athlete, and showing me what it means to be a leader. Thank you to Nick, Kirstie, and Mel (the original coaching crew when I joined) for welcoming me to CFSV with open arms and nurturing my love of CrossFit. Thank you to Nelly, Mike, and Karina for being a dream team with endless creativity and passion for our gym.
It’s been an honor to serve as your coach. If I can be helpful to you in any way, please don’t hesitate to find me on Facebook or Instagram and reach out! I would love to stay connected.
With that, here’s your workout for today:
