    push press: 95#

wod: 11:00 with 65# curtis P. those lunges are deceptive!

  3. Brian says:

PP: 115# Wasn’t feeling it this morning until the last set, when I ripped off 5 in quick succession.

WOD: 8:45 @ 75#. Glad I kept the weight light so I could keep moving. 95# would have been a bit of a struggle, 85# might have worked okay.

  4. JT says:

It was awesome this morning. Once again, I am humbled and grateful to get to work with you wonderful people. Keep at it!

    • Marcos says:

JT, I am humbled and also sincere to say it has been a privilege to be coached by people like you, Yosh and Mandy. Thank you for the support very early in the morning!

  5. Ben S says:

    pp: 155#
WOD: 9:41 @95#. I’m starting to wonder if 95# somehow tricks me into thinking it’s heavier than it really is…

  6. Erin says:

Push press: 105, for 10 reps over 3 sets. Last set was 4.85 reps, almost there! Buuut I dropped it and it landed on my water bottle making a sound like a gunshot. Yoshs response? ” I did tell you to be explosive.”
Beats a former 1 rep PR of 90. Psyched.

    • Lara says:

You should be psyched, Erin. That was the most badass push press that I’ve ever seen!

  7. Brian says:

Got myself a callous shaver tonight! Hellooo soft, supple hands.

    • Ben S says:

damn! totally forgot…I need to get on that!

    • Lynn says:

wait, really? those callouses are super functional! i love mine!

      • Brian says:

Yes, until they get so out of control that they start pinching and create callouses on top of callouses! Better to have smooth callouses than lumpy callouses. I guess my hands won’t be soft and supple, but at least smoother.
