Today we’re doing a Hero WOD, but it’s not the usual grindy slog that many Hero WODs devolve into. No, this one’s fast – VERY fast if you’re doing it right. My fastest Randy time is sub-5 minutes, and keeping the rest tight between sets is definitely a question of willpower as much as it is wind and endurance.

75 Power Snatches at a light-moderate weight will absolutely require your focus and strong maintenance of form if you’re going to put them together consistently. That’s why we’ll be spending extra time drilling the snatch for technique, and working up to heavy triples in the Strength section. “Grease the groove” and get those movement patterns locked in on heavy weight, and you’ll have a fighting chance of holding it together for 75 lighter reps.
