that’s my bro, down on the floor

    (see what i did there…)

  2. Cal says:

front squat: 115# for 5 and 130# for 3. Matches my 3 rep max from May…damn you overhead walking lunges yesterday! I also need to be more strategic when we have less sets, I think I struggle making big jumps.

wod: 8:06 Rx. Push ups actually didn’t feel so horrible today and 135# deadlifts are the perfect comfortably uncomfortable weight for me.

FS: 215#. It’s difficult to figure out how much to jump in weight with just 3 sets. I probably could have done 225 for the last set but played it safe.

WOD: 5:57 Rx. Deadlifts got tiring quickly and push-ups went by too quickly to provide much of a break. Was tempted to try full-on Diane, but that probably would have at least doubled my time. Not quite ready for that many HSPUs.

Had to do this one, it looked like too much fun…

3:23 Rx. Was really hoping for under 3 but I found I had to slow down the deadlifts a bit towards the end to avoid just backing the weight up. Was able to do them unbroken though. Next time: Diane.

gotta love your shins covered in bruises from deadlifts – I always feel so accomplished looking this beat up : )

  9. Steve says:

    Front Squats: 155#, knees out!

WOD: 8:17 @ 225#. Dead lifts got really heavy really quickly.
