Hey guys,

Here is a unique opportunity in support of a great cause:

On September 22, 2012, the Boston Soldier Ride will take place to help benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. Soldier Ride is a unique four-day cycling opportunity for Wounded Warriors to use cycling and the bonds of service to overcome physical, mental, or emotional wounds. The rides are exhilarating and a great way to help warriors gain confidence and realize you can do this!

Volunteers are needed, and our own Jaime Bailey as well as Alicia Dunn, are participating at a few of the water stops along the course.

To learn more about Soldier Ride, you can visit: http://www.soldierride.org

If you want to volunteer, you’ll need to sign up with the Boston Warrior outpost here: https://mycarecrew.lotsahelpinghands.com/c/658503/login/?logout&language=en

If you have any questions feel free to ask!

First off, shout out to Abi for showing no fear and getting that weight over her head during Strength training. Good job Abi.

    Hang Power Snatch – 185#

    WOD – 5+1 RX

    HPS: 105#
    WOD: 6+7 @ 75#

Also, got my sixth kipping muscle up sometime during warmups, though I could have handled the dismount a little better.

Good job, 6pm! This workout was tough.

Your snatch form was impeccable. And helpful to watch! I missed your muscle up but awesome job!!

No, Yosh’s form is impeccable; mine is just a very rough approximation. 🙂 I know when I’m doing it right because the bar effortlessly flies overhead and my feet don’t jump back a foot, and when that happens it feels very satisfying.

  3. Alicia says:

HPS: A very ugly 70# PR
    WOD: 4+1 @ 55# HPS, 14# Wall Balls
