Need work on my Sasquatch. Squat part is still suspect – need to get more bendy. Not my favorite WOD but Mandy always makes it fun! 45# (meh… really 43# right?)
I’ve got some work to put in on my sasquatch to get the correct form down at a weight that I am truly challenging myself, but it was good to have one class dedicated to focusing on that just that. I felt very awkward with my form for many of the rounds before I moved up the weight to one that started to feel challenging/comfortable. By the last round I think I was starting to get more coordinated and ready to push the weight next time I’m sasquatching.
I really enjoyed this! Echoing what Matt wrote, this was good format to concentrate on what is essentially the most challenging and technical movement in the entire universe.

I was in the competitors zone and tested out one of the wods from the garage games this weekend —
AMRAP 4
2 power cleans (95#)
2 front squats
2 shoulder to over head
4+1. I have a stretch goal of 5, but I think I can definitely do more than I did this morning.

I felt highly uncoordinated sasquatching this morning but a fun workout!
Also prepped for the Garage Games this weekend.
Warmed up with 185# squats, but it wasn’t pretty. Staying positive and hoping I can make it through these on Saturday.
Also, did the AMRAP 4 with Cal and got 4+1. 5 is a definite possibility.

Felt pretty okay about my squat snatch @ 85#. Went on the lighter side to work on proper form and technique.
