this was about 4 mins off last time. I was really slow in round 1, but then had a vision of Nick DK on the bridge during the run, like Jesus in sweatpants, and was inspired to get back on pace. The time was already lost, but it was inspiring nonetheless.
speaking of which, you should try to make a 6:30 class sometime…this morning was an epic beard fight. no fewer than 4 beards in a class of 7 people. 5, really, if you count the spirit of Badger himself (which I would).
The two times I was able to run, it was kind of nice because a couple of people (including that pumpkin stand guy) kept telling me, “GOOD JOB! YOURE ALMOST THERE!” and i’m just like… ‘Ăf only they knew..’ haha But it kept me going.
I actually liked this workout; happy to try and honor a brave man .
haha i know! He’s cool though. He reminded me of that new Hoppah Direct TV commercial- all i thought about is that old guy going “good, so you can start cleaning, cooking, leaving, and jogging” and then the “do I really have to leave?” “i’m certainly not going jogging”*eats chips* hahahha So I had a couple laughs on my run ^_^ Just think about funny commercials to get you through your workout, haha
Also, I was in the 5pm class and I believe I left my black mini Sansa MP3 player by the corner with the matts. If anyone finds it, could you give me a call at 617 388 3023. I would GREATLY appreciate it. Thanks!
Thank You!!!
Navy Chief Petty Officer Mark Carter (DEVGRU SEAL), 27, of Virginia Beach, VA was killed in Iraq 11 December 2007.
great workout in honor of an even greater man.
As my son would say, “I did not do a great job.” But I was there. So:
WOD: at the gym, as prescribed. Unbroken sets of not being in bed.
Not worthy of Chief Petty Officer Carter, but not nothing.
Yah, Hillary! That was a tough one!!
Badger: 33:26rx, in your honor CPO Carter.

Those are my sweatpants on Jesus! Also Mad Mike BEASTED the workout yesterday and made it look like nothing. Bravo.
You’re too kind. Thanks! (If you could see my cheeks through The Biggest Beard at CFSV™ they would be blushing)

I’m not much a morning person, but let me know what day would work for a Beard Morning™ and I’ll try to make it.

Next time I’ll finish this under 35 mins, Mr. Carter.
Badger: 39:19 @ 75#. That run takes longer than I thought. I don’t want to think about how bad this would have been Rx.
Good work, 5pm.
