    the snatch deadlift is narrowly passing overhead squat as the most awkward maneuver ever.

    SDL: 105#. i could only croak one-at-a-time on 125# b/c of grip sadness
    WOD: 10:46 @ 45#. this one was surprisingly dog-pantingly aerobic—all that hip-snapping-jumping.

    when can we have a fish-game WOD? a set is only complete after you’ve eaten 10 fish 🙂

            I believe the chilean seabass was once called the toothfish – YUM. I may need to make cod in a lemon garlic sauce this week.

    Snatch deadlifted for the first time…215#. Felt strong enough in my deadlift to do more weight but I need to work on strength to hold the grip on every rep.

    I think I overcame my fear of the snatch today. Finally landing right. Thanks for the tips Nico! Next time there is a split jerk day I hope you’re around since I land awkwardly on those too
