    Hey folks, this is a GREAT time to remind you to plan ahead! If you’re leaving town for Thanksgiving, shoot me a note at info@crossfitsomerville.com so we can put your membership on hold while you’re gone!

    In addition, you can also plan ahead for the holidays in other ways:
    1) by wearing stuff that lets your family notice how good you’re looking now that you’re a badass CrossFitter; this will help mitigate family agita brought about when you turn down the heirloom stuffing cause it ain’t paleo, and instead you break out a tupperware of cauliflower rice and grilled chicken at the dinner table.
    2) by cooking those paleo dishes in advance, and taking some to every holiday function, potluck style. At least you’ll know there’s one thing there that’s good for you to eat.

    One of those mornings I did not want to get out of bed, still had a wicked knot in my back from the night before (one of those that hurts to breath).
    But there ain’t no better cure than a little Crossfit with my CFSV team. Today, my morning thanks go to KP for a thorough warmup and Ariana for a badass ipod.

    160# Hang squat clean (PR). I think I can go even more next time too. Just gotta get the quick movements.
    7:32 WOD. Got a better rhythm going on my third set of thrusters. If I can do that every set I can cut down even more time.

    hsc: 185#. 195#x1, got under it again no problem (christine: like a kangaroo), then just kind of gave up. not entirely happy with myself, which isn’t like me.

    wod: 7:17 (I think, maybe :15) rx.

    Only one at the noon class today…it was rather lonely

    HSC: 145#, these felt awesome!

    WOD: 11:17, as usual I ripped through the first set of HSPU and then could only get 1-2 together in the 2nd round and had to kip 1 at a time in the last round. As Nick pointed out, proper technique makes ALL the difference on these. Need to work on that.
