What’s your excuse?

I gotta give this kid a shout-out. His name is Nick Newell. I went to College with him, attended most of the same classes as we were in the same Major. Always knew this kid loved to Wrestle but had little to no idea he had carried his passion to the Sport of MMA. Oh by the way….he has one arm!  Nick recently became the XFC Lightweight Champ. He holds a Pro record of 8 Wins (most by Submission or KO), and 0 Losses. Great job Nick.

Push Press: 90# . I’m happy with it because Yosh helped with my dip-drive, and i’m worried I may have been jerking a couple times I PRd. I know the difference in movement, but I wasn’t aware that I was still bending some after the press. So Thank you for that. I’m also happy that my shoulder was able to allow push presses to happen since I had to scale everything to squatting to leave it alone

WOD: 10:02. 65#, KB were shoulder high because the rotation of up and down still bothered my shoulder and I didn’t want to overdo it after pressing. ALSO I used two red bands for pullups like KP told me to! yay! ^_^
I was wicked tired today, but I thought it was a nice and laid back class today.

    Good Job 12 oclock!

PP: 180# pr (shoulders are definitely getting stronger)
    WOD: 18:08 rx
This was an ass kicker…. Legs are smoked. Probably a cumulative effect from all the squats and clean throughout the week.
Great job 5pm! Appreciated all the positive encouragement!

    PP: 165#, 3 Rep PR.
WOD: 13:48 Rx. Caught the last couple of cleans on my knees and had to stand up with them before getting into those front squats. Back was toast, and everything hurts today.

    PP: 155# PR City

WOD: 15:05 @ 125# FS. This WOD destroyed me, absolutely destroyed me. My whole body is tight and in pain.
