Strength: 80# (or 82# depending on what the heck the barbell weighs)
WOD: 17:45 with Rx DLs, 25# Lunges, and 10# wallballs. This was a long, slow burner. Keeping it slow and steady worked well for me though. After watching everybody else suffer through it I regretted not going to 14# for my wallballs, but I think I was so scared of the the lunges that I wasn’t thinking clearly. 🙂
Nice work, as always, 5:30.
Press: 125# (130# x 1)
WOD: 20:16 Rx.
Yikes, that was long one. Great job by everyone to fight through it, especially Matt. Nice work 5:30am!
Press: 63#
WOD: 22:21 but my scaling was such that the time is kind of meaningless – but I did some version of every move. So many airballs…
Puking: None, but seriously considered it.
What an awesome, tough group – way to go 5:30 am!
Time and scaling is never meaningless. It’s always useful data to have once the wod is finished. Everything we do in CrossFit is measurable and repeatable, kind of the method in the madness. Everyone needs to stop beating themselves up. Sometimes we forget how potent constantly varied, high intensity movements are, and don’t give ourselves enough credit for having put in hard work. Sometimes our bodies are just beat up and tired which is totally ok and usually expected. You all work very hard and do each other great justice to each others progress.
OK, Coach 😉
Press: 70#, 72#x1. Pressing makes me so frustrated. I haven’t PRed in a while and can’t consistently hit 75#. OY!
WOD: 23:09 with Rx lunges and wall ball and 135# deadlift. I deadlifted like a giant asshole yesterday doing strength stuff and i’m paying for it big time today. My entire back is sore. Good fun.
Hey, if you put us together we completely RXed this workout. 🙂
Press: 135#, should have tried 140#
WOD: 22:34 Rx @275#, I can feel my quads will be sore for days.
Press: 85# , not a PR. Failed at 90#, 88# and 87# and then called it a day. I missed KP and Tricia on this one. No fun working alone on OH movements because no one is there to yell PUSH PUSH PUSH. I imagine childbirth is similar.
WOD: 21:00 @ 115# deadlift, the rest Rx – this one brought the suck. I like it.
I imagine childbirth is similar.
bahahahahahahahahahah!
