Tell me someone’s got some Salt and Peppa for this.

  2. Shorty says:

    Hatch Wk 7/Day 2

    WOD: 3+14 Rx

This one was pretty tough for me. Great job by the 5:30 am per usual. And of course Salt-n-Pepa was there.

apparently push it actually came out in ’86.

    SQUATTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wod: 4+5 Rx. My TTB felt less than ideal to day, usually those are spot on for me. felt like a lost, broken monkey swinging around aimlessly for the two middle rounds.

  4. Danimal says:

Push Jerk: 155#. I had to stop at this weight because the pain was too much. I hyper-extended both of my elbows like an idiot while warming up…

    Modified WOD: AMRAP 12 of
3 front squats (155# taken from squat rack)
    6 box jumps (30″)
    9 situps

    9 rds + 15

  5. Mad Mike says:

    Push Jerk: 135
    WOD: 6+5 @ 155lbs with knee hangs.

  6. bensacc says:

push jerk: 175#. I knew there had been a change of plan when mad mike threw 135 on the bar to “warm up”. not a pr, but I’ll take it for tonight!

wod: 4+1 kinda rx-ish (toes thru rings subbed for toes to bar).

(failed at my january goal tonight, sir. I know.)

  7. RenΓ©e says:

    Push Jerk: 95# PR

…tried 105#, failed. tried 100# and failed on the 3rd. So 2RM at 100# and 3RM at 95#. We haven’t done this in a while. I was trying to match my split jerk PR of a 3RM at 100#. I came pretty close πŸ™‚

    WOD: 6 & 3 @ 75#

    I <3 toes to bar.

I liked this WOD because as the 6pm class began to depart I looked around and realized it was just me and all dudes. I love crossfit because a year ago if I were at BSC, top floor (all weights), in the middle of a series of male-only bro-downs I would have felt super awkward. Not for lack of ability to work a cybex machine but because you get ogled and don't feel like you're part of the weight lifting camaraderie. I have never once felt like that at CFSV. Ever.
