Yeah 5:30 crew and KP!
I did the split jerks @ 65#, which felt really light. I don’t have a recent 1RM but I’m hoping that we’ll have a go at it next week!
Baseline = 6:24
Enilesab = 7:11
(Scaled w/ knee pushups and a blue band)
So, Yosh wants us to write about the Open. While it does sound less unappealing to me than it did last year (maybe even a teensy bit fun), I’m still not sure if I have the moves yet. But I’ll be at the 9AM skill session tomorrow to see what all this kipping stuff is about. Thanks, guys!
Split Jerk 45#
First time, so looking forward to finding RM

Me don’t like when KP gets hurt :(, wishing a speedy recovery! Way to rock the lima bean speed squats 6:30!
hahaha…except when emily doesn’t know what she’s doing!
Split Jerk technique work conclusion: it needs more work
Baseline: 3:48 Rx
Enilesab: 3:59 Rx
I registered for the Open because it gives me something to strive for. Doing this keeps me motivated and disciplined.
I’m not registering for the Open this year, but last year was fun with everyone getting together and cheering each other on. I’ll try to be there to cheer people on this year when I can.
If you don’t consider yourself one of the better athletes, like me, it doesn’t matter. You’re competing with yourself most of all. As for the cost, it’s not that much and essentially gets you free workouts thanks to the coaches here and at Fenway.
If you’re recovering from an injury and think this type of environment would encourage you to do something stupid, I suggest not competing. If that’s not you, you really have no reason not to đ

Some of you guys are just bosses- Brian Dan Marcos… Rock on!
Tks, Renee, but after some years doing Crossfit, I realize that our time on the white board is sometimes misleading. I’m not sure if it expresses the real meaning of a wod. It does not reveal necessarily what happens inside each of us during the workout. Everything is so dependable and proportional to our mental, emotional, and, of course, physical condition.
Sometimes I think the white board does not serve the essence of crossfit. There will be a lot of disagreements, but I have been convinced more and more that the real white board should be in our heads, only. Well, just a thought. Tks anyway.
Ah, and bear with my English.
Dan, as a rower and a CFSV friend, I wish you all the best in your competition on Sunday. Very courageous of you. Go get it!!!
Thanks a ton, Marcos! This means a lot! I will give it my all and more đ
Baseline forwards and back: 3:39 / 12:50 Rx. Situps fucking crushed me the second time through.
