Hey everyone! CrossFit Nashua is hosting a couple’s competition on April 27th. The cost is $100. Would anyone be interested in competing with me? I would most likely register in the scaled division (can’t do muscle ups). The link below has all the details. Please let me know soon before it fills up!

    Row: 2:13
    WOD: 8+ 24 (35#, “pistols” to box)
Great class. After 3 months of holidays, sickness, travel, etc. this feels like the beginning of trying to work on fitness again, and I enjoyed the camaraderie of all of us just keeping our heads down and working, working, working for 20 minutes.
This is KP while she watches us use foam rollers. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R6MlHxAzLXA

  3. Olivia says:

    Row: 1:59

WOD: 6+21rx. Those pistols really slowed me down…

Nice work today, 5:30! It feels good to be back on my regular schedule after snow days & Feb break and it was good to see Hillary back at it!

    Row: 1:59

WOD: 9+5 (40#/bar) Holy quads! Pistols made me like burpees even more! What!

Love the rowing intensity 6:30, thanks for grunting along with me.

You rocked that row! I loved the vocals! You go girl – I need to get my ass out of bed for you guys more often – I love the am crew!!

  5. cmliu says:

gotta say… this is the closest i’ve gotten to feeling like i was going to get sick during the WOD. (i’m sure whatever i ate/drank/slept yesterday did not help.) but the long intensity was a great challenge.

    500m row: 2:09

WOD: 7+18 @ 55# snatch, pistols to green bucket. we should name this wod ‘butt butt butt butt BUTT’

  6. Renée says:

Doinnnn the butt!! I LOVE the WOD name and Theme song!! I adore that song but stopped singing it out loud years ago when I was met with looks of horror by the people around me. Their brains inserted an “in” into the lyrics and they did not recognize the dated jingle. It was embarrassing. I vote this gets played during Monday night’s WOD. I can’t wait to ad lib the “___ got a big ole butt” part.

    ANYWHO –

Row: 2:02 next time I want under 2 min but I was cool with this

    WOD: 7 & 5 Rx

Thanks KP for that last minute push “GIVE ME 3 – just 3” and “Give me TWO MORE RIGHT NOW” It’s that extra attention/push/faith in me that help move me that much further and it is SO much appreciated. 🙂

    Great Job 6:30!!

  7. Danimal says:

    500m row: 1:30.4
So close to breaking the 1:30 mark….next time.

WOD: Around 7 rds I think (scaled pistols with 2 green stools)
    I hate pistols. PEW PEW.

I have a brand new Harbinger dip belt (great for weighted ring dips and pullups) that was collecting dust at home so I decided to loan it to CFSV. You can find it hanging on the yellow scaffold. Feel free to use it. ENJOY!!

  8. Ariana says:

ROW: 2:15. PR for me ! I’m usually on the 2:30 mark. Was able to keep a steady 2:17ish pace. It was nice ^_^

WOD: 6+3 RX. Those pistols realllly hurt today. Fell down once or twice haha. This WOD felt awesome though!

    5:30 kicked ass

  9. Harry says:

    Row – 1:43.2

WOD – 7+11 (pistols scaled to bench; up-downs)

That was awful. Good job 7p.

  10. Brian says:

Row: 1:29.9 Just snuck in there under my goal!

WOD: 5+8 Rx. I really fucking blow at pistols. And also those snatches gave my back a world of hurt.

  11. Erin says:

    Max 500: 1:49

  12. Rich says:

500m max : 1:43. I can do better than this, who has some of Heisenberg’s stuff?
WOD: 8+7 at 85# and pole assisted pistols.

  13. smschoenfeld says:

    500m: 148.3 PR

WOD: 7 rounds even. Good lord this was a rough one. In effect to protect my healing shoulders I modified the workout to do front squats instead of snatches. Combined with pistols (scaled) and burpees, I introduced my legs to a new level of pain and I am feeling it today.
