OHS: 95#. That was a PR by 15#… maybe I’m getting the hang of these overhead squats?

    WOD: 7:07rx

Nice work today 5:30am. Props to Hillary for her OHS pr, Cal & Shorty for killing open wod 13.1 and to Marcos for being my burpee buddy!

awesome on the PR! seems like OHS is like one of those things that just gets easier after forcing your body to do it over time. like rowing 🙂

      • Renée says:

If this is true that makes me happy because I have been forcing myself to do it really light 2x a week because mine are horrific

  2. Hillary says:

OHS: 60# (65# for 3). Olivia, I didn’t realize you had a PR by 15#!! That is so huge – congrats. 🙂 I also missed the fact that you guys did the burpees – well done.
    WOD: 9:57 (45#)
Thanks to both Marcos and Mandy for reminding me how far I’ve come!

  3. cmliu says:

OHS: 75# PR. also: it’s on record that mandy would rather do OHS than a front squat, any day. #socraycray 🙂

    WOD: 9:55 Rx. splits 2:13, 2:29, 2:13.

Hi friends!! I wanted to see if anyone was interested in carpooling on Saturday over to Fenway. We could meet at Somerville and drive over. I just have to be in work for 5pm, so unfortunately I can’t hang out after the festivities 🙁

    95# OHS and 105# x 4. Damn I got sloppy

I really struggled with these today. Couldn’t get even one rep at 135#…then I started feeling a pain in my left shoulder ;(

    WOD: 7:13 (hang power cleans @ 115#)

As much as I don’t want to, I’m gonna have to heed Yosh’s orders and not work out tomorrow…

OHS: 115# Not a PR, but felt real good about my form and control of the movement.
WOD: 8:26 @ 65# Decided to go a little light on the hang power snatch to protect my shoulder. No pain or setbacks with that movement. Little by little getting back to full strength.
