Guess it makes sense to repost this here now:

For anyone doing 13.4 in the next few days:

This is the video that finally made me click with TTB. Hopefully this will give some of you some inspiration as well.

    Called it to a T.

Good luck everyone this Saturday – I will be at an all day conference so I did this one today. Really surprised myself. Got some great coaching beforehand too – thank you again Brian!

    23 reps!

Really happy about it. I had cleaned 95# exactly one time before today. I tried and failed a bunch of times before that one time. That one time was in late Jan or early Feb, I believe. Today I cleaned (and jerked) 95# 16 times. Really happy about this.

Great work tonight Renee!! This workout was ripe for PRs. It was a pleasure coaching and judging you.

Renee, hearing this makes me really happy. I’m so proud of you and your giant muscles!

    • Donne says:

Yaaaay Renee! BTW don’t ever want to hear “hiding in the corner” for this workout because that ain’t your style girl. You fought hard despite your doubts and it was an amazing sight!

    • Hillary says:

That is so awesome – great job!

    • Olivia says:

Congrats Renee! That’s awesome! We’ll be missing you tomorrow, but it’s good to know you got us a strong start! 🙂

  4. Donne says:

    13.4: 20 reps (scaled 85#/knee to chest)

I was excited for this workout, and it was fun to do it as it was to watch the announcement. First round did power clean/push press and switched to split clean/split jerk which was much easier for me in next round.

Good luck all on saturday, I know you guys will be amazing!!!

  5. Brian says:

    13.4: 68 Reps

Definitely a grip smoker. Use a hook grip, and drop every rep for the C&J unless it’s a really light weight for you (but make sure to get right back onto the bar).

  6. Rich says:

13.4 – 56 reps. Would love another shot at this after doing it tonight. Its a sprint compared to the first three. Loosen up your forearms thoroughly and prepare to blast off. Best of luck to all competing tomorrow.

  7. Khalipa's Right Bicep says:

13.4 – 69 reps. I’m not gonna lie…I wanted to hit this number. GOAL ACHIEVED!

I glad my shoulder held up. Adrenaline + yelling + people + my Bday + Yosh no repping my TTB = my lucky number.

  8. Olivia says:

13.4 = 73 reps + 1 no rep on a C&J that went 99% of the way up. That no rep made me sad. Oh, and apparently I push pressed every rep. Can someone teach me to push jerk??

This was a fun wod and, again, I loved the support of the amazing CFSV and CFF community! I’ll be sad when the Open is over…

    • Olivia says:

Did it again today and improved 8 reps, I assume because I managed to push at least 50% of the time. I was mostly scared that I would do it again and get worse, and I think the fear pushed me through, because the rounds of 12 and 15 C & Js were NO FUN today!
