13.4 has come and gone. Those pesky 7 minutes were the shortest of the time domains thus far. We had another great turn out at CrossFit Somerville this past weekend with more positivity and encouragement exudeding from the atmosphere. Congratulations again to all the athletes and thank you to those who came and supported us. One more week, guys. Give it everything you got.

    First time doing wall climbs, realize need to get over my fear of hand stands. Thanks Maralene for the hip tip on my box jumps (I find a common theme I need to focus on πŸ™‚

    215# push press. Needed to get a few warm up sets in to get my body back to the push press instead of the jerk.
    9:22. I used the rig for the pistols.
    Great work 5:30, nice small class pushing it hard.

    PP: 135# New 5-rep max, but I think I might have been able to go a little heavier.
    WOD: 9:22 with a hand on the rig for the pistols. I think I’ll try the heel plate next time.

    PP: 100# even. These still get ugly when they get heavy…

    WOD: 10:22rx+ (24″ box). I managed the pistols unsupported, but my heels were definitely coming up. I think I used the bigger box to compensate for my not-so-hot pistols. πŸ™‚

    Nice work 5:30! I don’t think I could start my week without you guys…

    WOD – 6:59 rx except for pistols. Damn you MA and your strict gun-laws.

    Nicely done, Olivia – you wouldn’t know you rocked your way through a lot of reps of 13.4 just the day before yesterday!

    PP: 65#, getting a little faster
    WOD: 9:44 with everything scaled, but some of it with slightly better form.

    PP: 95# – need to work on my lockout and now I have this weird shouldery feeling thing..

    WOD: 8:59 with 1 pood …I can russian swing 1.5 but I can’t lock it out. I am wondering how I could get stronger with the Kb. Ariana, I should come to your Kettle Bell class. You guys don’t know this but this girl is constantly seeking and getting so much athletic variation in her life. Anyway, back to Kb – I think my hips are off a little. Yosh was trying to correct me during the WOD but I couldn’t hear him.
