Very good programming, Yosh! I was missing longer wods.
Today’s wod was a tough one for me.
It’s not an excuse, but these 5 hour-sleeping nights, for months, have been an issue that I have to deal with.
As I believe, adversities are included in the package. They give a special flavor, but I have to recognize that 6 hours or more of sleep make a huge difference. To workout daily after sleeping 5 hours, I have to shout “let’s go” every time to wake up my mind…
Thanks KP again for the correction on my right knee position. As Flaubert used to say, “le bon Dieu est dans le détail”.
Good workout for everyone! And good luck with 13.5!
By the way, Lara, our break today was in your honor. I was told what happened this past weekend and to be honest, you had a bigger benefit with this experience than with just finishing the 13.4. Now you really have a proof that our mind is our most important “muscle”. You are now stronger than ever. Congrats! It pays to be a winner.
Thank you, Marcos. You get a big hug from me next time I see you! You are so right to take a positive spin on this. Wise words, indeed. And a break in my honor? Shucks, the honor is all mine. You should have said “Yosh” instead. I’m not an easy person to coach, and anyone who has the talent and patience to teach me that deserves an award!
Thanks to everyone – you are all such great role models in your own ways. What an incredible community we have here, eh?
WOD = 5 rounds even 45#, blue band rounds 1-3 then added a red for 4+5 bc i couldn’t graze the bar with my nipples anymore. After the WOD I learned that collarbone to sternum is “chest” so… I should have kept the blue but oh well. also, OHS…. bite me.
FS: 135# PR (failed 145# at 1 rep but it was my BW so I’ll take it!)
WOD: 5 rounds even (55#, green&red bands)
Another day Donne can’t do math again (forgot used 45# bar).
The lost children have returned, such an awesome 6:30a class today with great energy, stories and laughter!
Yes, let’s go!
