Nothing fancy to write today guys. I’ve written, erased, and have rewritten this blog multiple times but nothing seems to hold its value. I’m sure everyone is mentally and emotionally fatigued from the events of the Boston Marathon but id just like to thank everyone for coming together as a community and sending your most positive thoughts to everyone affected. I know everyone checked, rechecked, and checked again with loved ones to make sure they were alright. Stuff like this definitely shows off our strengths more than our weaknesses. I’m glad each and every one of you are ok. If there’s anything I can do please let me know.

Having nothing to do with today’s WOD, I am letting you all know how thankful I am to have you in my life, and that everyone from CFSV was ok. My boyfriend new Krystle Campbell, as did a lot of his friends, and this has really hit home for us on how short life can be. I am thinking of you all today.
Right back at ya, Trish – it was so great to see everybody tonight, and I was struck by how grateful I am for all the good CrossFit folks <3.
today has been a blur. knowing there’s a supportive crossfit family with love and courage for all is a comfort.
I second and third all of the above .. Blurry day haunted by stories and images, coming in tonight I had a pretty “what’s the point” mentality. Focusing on the workout and being surrounded by you guys really helped get my mind in a more positive space relative to where it was before working out.
Split jerk 110# 2RM
WOD 7:56 @ 85# with blue backpack
If anyone is feeling really bad and needs someone to vent to about everything please feel Free to reach out. Sometimes all you need is an ear and a hug. 617-212-5168
SJ: 65# (because I know I’m going back for more in the morning)
WOD: 8:43 at 55# and wall climbs.
Agreed to the above – somehow coming in tonight and seeing all you good people made this day a heck of a lot better.
SJ: 130# for 2, 145# for 1
Wod: 7:21 @ 100# & 1 abmat. This wod felt like all handstand push ups, with some power cleans built in as rest…
A few people were surprised to see me at an evening class, but today was a day that I wanted to be surrounded by people (and I sure as hell wasn’t setting my alarm on my day off…) It was great to see everybody and it helped snap me out of the daze I was in for much of the day. Thanks CFSV- I don’t know what I would do without you. 🙂
