Felt weak today, but as KP said to me this morning Whole 30 is going to make me a little weaker before I get stronger.
Deadlift : 225# for 5RM PR
WOD: 4 rounds even with plenty of bands, singles, and 1pd kettlebells
DL: 135#. Working on form, and on protecting the ol’ groin. Got a nice video to study. (Thanks, KP!)
WOD: 5+16 @ 1pd KB. CTB required muscle recovery starting in round 4, which slowed things down considerably. Also, I no-repped 2 in the 5th round which really sucked.

wod: 3+34 w/ 2 pood bell. spent way, way, WAY too long trying to get through ctb pull ups. in hindsight, should have scaled down to regular pull ups until I have chest to bar solid again, could have at least kept moving that way.
DL:
PR’d at a one rep max of 185#. Before that I made it to 180# for a set of 5 π
WOD:
5+2 rounds. Singles on the rope, tricked myself into a single red band for pull-ups (after just moving to a single blue on Saturday), and just realized it was 12 KB swings in yesterday’s wod, not 21 π
I did 21 KB swings in each round, because clearly I was super excited for this WOD, and a little dizzy from lack if oxygen during my DL’s.
oh well, just building stregnth with the extra swings I guess π

OH yeah – first 2 weeks you’ll be sluggish as a snail then on week 3 you’re going to have TONS of energy π

also: try cold-brew iced coffee black if you’re into it. many times it’s sweeter/caramel-ier from simply extracting more flavor from the beans.
