Sumo Deadlift: 265# for 3, 270# for 1 (pr). A little better than my regular deadlift, and damn close to 2x bodyweight. If only I didn’t eat that candy bar yesterday…

Wod: 7:59rx. Those kettlebell swings drained me. Watch out – this one’s a grip killer.

    These felt great today.

    WOD: 8:09 Rx
This did not feel so great today.

7:30am class for a change. We’ll see how it affects my day. Good work!

awesome morning class! but damn if this WOD didn’t hit all of my sore spots (KB swings are cool but by then my grip was utterly shot)

sumo DL: 195# (smack-dab same as regular DL). can’t tell if i like these or find them bizarre. definitely a bit more dainty!

WOD: 13:32 @ 14# ball, 16kg KB. toes to bar are improving, slowwwwly. this one really wiped me out.

Lara and Rich power duo TEAM UP:
Sumo deadlift: 295#, these still feel awkward, I need to practice them a bit more.
WOD: 8:46 rx with my beautiful big toe.

  5. Lara says:

Sumo: 155#. Less than my regular DL – next time I’ll wear my giant sumo diaper; that should improve things.

WOD: 7:25 w/ knees-to-pits and a 16KG KB. I practiced TTB after the workout, and my toes are a mere 2 inches away from that dang bar.

Great workout today – I went in feeling like I needed a nap, and left feeling like a million bucks. Thanks, KP and Rich!

Haha I will come an evening to join ya with sumo diapers … we’ll have to foot stomp every time a new set of lifts start 😉

Sumo DL: 325#, these feel awkward and can’t keep a grip on the bar for very long

WOD: 9:45 Rx, T2B were the limiting factor on this one.

    SDL: 185# PR

WOD: 7:48 (Knee to chest, 10#)

Needed to let out some steam … got a belly full of laughs as well tonight. Thanks 7p, you guys are rad!

  8. Trish says:

SDL: 235# …I had a hard time hanging on to this one even with a split grip…which by the way is pretty awkward

WOD: 8:55! 14# ball, lots of scaling for TTB, and 16kg kettle bells that felt fantastic! Tonight was a great workout all around, I think my Whole 30 for 40 days is kicking in finally! Yes!
